Sign Up For A Chance To Watch Amazing Speakers

You have expertise to give from years of hard work. You feel that it's time to give back to the community. You want to see future generations learn from your mistakes.

It takes someone special to want to give back in this way. And you may be one of those people.

Or, maybe you want to facilitate because you'd get to watch the international speakers attending. You would be inspired by either of our speakers.

Taking part in the Summit at the Pier means you get to watch Sir Ken Robinson and Jason Roberts present on creativity, transformation, and community. A chance of a lifetime to watch these two gents. In exchange, you attend the event to support the inquiry process along with the 500 teens by fostering amazing and unique ideas.

In this "no ideas are wrong" process, you are there to guide and foster the ideas that come from collaboration.  And the teens will ask questions of you. Look up to you for answers. You will be a "living library" with your expertise and knowledge backing you up.

You will also be trained in how to facilitate in this open floor concept and inquiry-led process by the Summit at the Pier crew. Cause when the ideas begin to flow the morning of Day 1, you will need to know where to direct them and help them form groups. If you don't know what is happening, then how can you help?

The Rethink Thinking themed Summit at the Pier is a 2-day event starting October 1st.

If you're interested in supporting students and taking part in a fabulous event, please sign up to be a facilitator here.

If you have already signed up, Facilitator Training is happening September 20th at 7pm. Sign up here.

Check out some of the facilitators who have already signed up.

I really would love to do this and have a conflict with my schedule for Sept. 20th. I can arrive around 7:30 pm. Could you please let me know if there will be another evening of training or if this is ok?
As well, did you ever receive the facilitator request form from speech language pathologist Marlene Lewis re: ending dyslexia?

I look forward to hearing back from you.

    Cheers,
    Frances Litman

Hi Frances, we have received Marlene's request and she mentioned her background in ending dyslexia. Thank you so much for putting her in contact with the Summit! As for the training, it would be worth having you there even if you were slightly late. Jeff will be explaining how the facilitators will handle the grouping and re-grouping during the open space inquiry.
